STA School Fund
In line with a number of other schools locally and across our Trust, we are running a school fund where
members of our school community can donate to support the school and enhance our students’ educational
experiences. Purpose of the fund Donations will be used to supplement resources for those in need and to
improve our learning environment.
Funds will never be spent on core running costs (such as energy bills or
salaries). Your donations will only every be used to extend and improve the education and support we offer to
our young people.
Books for Library:
As we are in the
process of growing and building our school library. We would love for you to be part of this journey. Please
see the different ways below that you can help us build an inspiring collection of books that will benefit
all our students.
Book Donations
We are always willing and happy to accept high-quality books that are appropriate for secondary school aged students. If you do have books you would like to donate, please leave them at our main reception.
Purchase a single Book
You can purchase a book directly from our Amazon Wishlist here, which features titles carefully selected by staff and students. The book will be sent directly to the school. Please add your name and email address when you purchase the book, as this will ensure the book you donate will include a special bookplate acknowledging your generous contribution — a lovely way to leave a lasting mark in our library.
Make a Legacy Donation
For those who wish to make a larger donation, a gift of £100 for book purchases will be recognised by a personalised plaque with your family name will be displayed in the library in your honour. You can make a legacy donation on Parent Pay by selecting ‘pay for other items’ once you have logged in.
Your support will help us create a vibrant, welcoming space that fosters a love of reading and learning for all our students. It will undoubtedly strengthen the reading culture in our school.
Other Financial contributions
There is no pressure to contribute to the school
financially. We are simply making the option available for those who wish to do so. A single donation of £10
is suggested but all donations regardless of size will be greatly appreciated and will make a difference.
Please ensure that you tick the ‘Gift Aid’ box if you are eligible. Please be assured also that any regular
donations are completely under your control and can be cancelled at any time.
If you would like to make a
financial contribution, the most efficient way is through your Parent Pay account. All you need to do is login
to your child’s Parent Pay account and go to Pay for other items. Here you will find a link to the school’s
donation page.
The Donations page can also be found on the left-hand side of the home page when you sign
in to ParentPay and on the school website. As RET is a not-for-profit charitable trust, you will be able to
claim Gift Aid on any donations.
Thank you for your support and for helping us to expand the provision we can offer our students.
Yours sincerely,
Mr Christopher Martin

St Andrew the Apostle School
