Term 2 : The time

This unit is about learning about the time in the wider sense. Pupils will learn about season, days, month, a good oppurtunity to recall number and the use of To be and To have.

For this assessment, students will be tested on Listening, Reading and Writing .

Term 3 : All about school

An opportunity for pupils to learn about schools in Greece as well as being able to describe their own experience. This unit is also linked to develop further pupils ability to describe the weather.

For this assessment, students will be tested on Listening, Reading and Speaking.

Term 4 : My identity (2)

Students will deepen their understanding of identity by exploring topics such as daily routines and home life. They will enhance their ability to express themselves using past tense forms of high-frequency verbs.

Students will be assessed on Listening, Reading, Speaking or Writing and Translation. The assessment will mainly include structures and vocabulary from the current unit, but also recall on prior knowledge. Students should be particularly mindful of using

Term 5 : Future aspiration

In this unit pupils learn about future plan. They discuss what to do when they are older and imagine how things will be in the future. They are using the future tense in more depth

Term 6 : Holidays !

Through the theme of Holidays, students will review and reinforce the application of various tenses covered throughout the year. Additionally, they will broaden their understanding of life in Cyprus and Greece.
